Synopsis

December 1942. As the Second World War rages across Europe, four children fight for their lives. Jewish siblings Sarah and Daniel, facing deportation, find refuge in the cellar of Otto and Gerda. But when the children are discovered and their parents arrested, they must embark on a perilous journey to distant, neutral Sweden. With danger closing in at every turn, their escape becomes a desperate fight for survival, hope and freedom.
