GENDARME ACADEMY

Synopsis

In a sleepy French town nestled among the vineyards of Burgundy, the local police have little more to do than keep the peace. That is, until a priceless diamond vanishes from a Belgian museum and its trail leads straight to the town’s annual village festival. Hidden among a shipment of garden gnomes, the stolen jewel is about to turn this quiet community upside down. Two hopelessly inept criminal siblings are suddenly on the run, while the equally unprepared local officers find themselves facing an unprecedented crime wave: garden gnomes are disappearing by the dozen. As chaos unfolds and the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur, one thing becomes clear: these little garden figures are far more than mere decorations. A wildly unpredictable comedy packed with mishaps, madcap chases, and delightful surprises.
