COMANDANTE

Synopsis

Captain Salvatore Todaro commands the Italian submarine Cappellini and leads his crew by his own rules. The vessel’s bow is reinforced with steel in case ramming an enemy ship becomes necessary, while the crew carries daggers for hand-to-hand combat. Amid the Second World War, Todaro faces difficult choices that test the boundaries between military duty, personal courage and his own code of honour.
