BEYOND THE SUMMIT

Synopsis

On the mountain, everyone fights for themselves. But no one survives alone. After years of chasing his dream, Mateo sets out to conquer Annapurna, one of the most dangerous mountains in the world. But when a serious accident leaves him badly injured and stranded in the unforgiving wilderness, his chances of survival seem slim. His only hope is Ione, an experienced climber who has withdrawn from the world and taken refuge in a remote mountain shelter. Although she does not understand what brought Mateo this far, she chooses to help him. As the mountain pushes them to their limits, their struggle becomes about far more than reaching the summit. It becomes a fight to survive.
